So, I'm over at Savannah's house, right? And she had this awesome idea of making candles for her family for Christmas. I was on board, obviously; it sounds fun, right? We were gonna melt old candles and turn them into new, bigger candles by melting the wax and making layers of different colors. It was inventive, colorful, creative! We put the candles in floating aluminum boats and put the boats in boiling water so they would melt without hurting the pot or mixing with the water. It was going awesome; we were working dilligently, and the candles looked super cool. It was so much fun...
Until some wax spilled on one of the stove fires. It absolutely erupted; Savannah and I were trapped in a corner, freaking out while Savannah's grandma turned off the flame and it finally died out.
My dear followers, we almost died today! It was terrifying! Scary stuff! You should thank your stars we're still alive :)
Anyway, that's all for today. I think Savannah and Morgan's Candle Co. is done for a while!
